ishmael's suit is done irezumi-style; both her shoulders, and upper part of her back and breasts are inked black, going all the way down to her wrists with an accompanying intricate clover pattern. and yes, this is supposed to evoke the same tattoos she'd gotten in her kurokumo clan identity, which is a canon AU where she's a yakuza captain. she often covers her arms up anyway, but there's no hiding them once she's fully exposed to the elements or if she chooses to wear shorter sleeves.
