on the box was a little card in impeccable penmanship that bore the words 'happy birthday' on the front. whether reira wrote it or she got one of the staff members to do it was a mystery, but she'd hope when ishmael picked it up and read it, she visualized a little reira in a bubble above her, reading it off in that high-pitched and spoiled sounding voice of hers.

Happy Birthday to you. I hope this gift will help you on your journey of looking even more cute than you already are. a proper lady should always have something cute to wear and adorn when a 'certain' moment strikes.
