Vergilius is always kind of like that. Back home, he just served as our guide as he led us throughout the City and said the same thing when we met him the first time. But if you don't have any issues with Rodya, it has to be with someone else... A mutual friend, maybe?

I thought he might've seen me with Miss Gebura a couple of times so I asked if he was sore over her being able to kick his ass.
Supposedly that's not the case (citation required), but aside from you and Miss Rodya, I don't know anyone else with direct relations with him…

That just leaves others from the City: Yesod, Netzach, and Miss Malkuth… but they're all so unassuming it's hard to imagine. Same goes for everyone I know here, unless there's someone you can think of he feels really strongly about.

Okay, so. We Fixers are ranked from grades 9 to 1 in terms of talent, prowess, etc. I'm a Grade 9 for example, and even then I still have a long way to go before I get to 8.

Above Grade 1 is another rank, which is being a Color. Once you achieve this, you'll be given a title with a color and you pretty much have all the freedom on the jobs you'll want to take, things you want to do, etc. In this example, Vergilius is also known as the Red Gaze.
